That's it actually, that IT exercice is to present you our newly restored stone house that we put for sale now.
Located in the sunny Poitou-Charentes region, our village is Voulème. We are not far from the coast, La Rochelle, 1.5h, Bordeaux, 1.5h and Cognac 1h by car, Paris, 1.5h by TGV, and London-Stansted, 1.15h by plane with Ryanair flying from Poitiers (30 mins from our house).
The lovely tranquil atmosphere of our village "Voulème" offers you a quick access to the local shops in Ruffec, Civray and Sauzé-Vaussais and you will have, as well, the opportunity of catching the bakers' van in the morning to buy your fresh croissants and baguettes.
And what is the property about?
Situated on a big garden of about 4000 m2, that 220 m2 house consists of:
Ground Floor:
- a kitchen / dining room : 36 m2 with a big fire place 2m wide, stoned floor, and chestnut floor, an ancien stone sink, stone walls, a nice oak fitted kitchen. - a lounge: 36 m2 as well, with an other big fire place, chestnut floor and stone walls, - a utility room with a little fitted kitchen, space for the washing machine, the central-heating boiler. - a separate toilets - an entrance hall with the stair case. - the main bathroom : 9m2 with a double sink unit, a bath top, a shower and a toilet. - bedroom 1: 18m2 with fitted wardrobe, stone wall.

That's about all I can think about. Yes, tha valley of the Charente River is 1 or 2 km away for those that likes fishing trouts or canoeing.
